Six years after starting out as a steward at Kop Hill Climb, then moving on to the main committee to systemise (what we call in IT ‘digital transformation’) the hill entrants and display bookings (growing it from 300 to 800+ vehicles) I’ve resigned due to fundamental disagreement with the direction the current ‘parachuted in’ leadership is taking the event and the management style being used, we are after all volunteers! I’m still helping on the entrants team and supporting the event but one step removed from the ‘management team’. See you all there in September.
