I am now the 9th owner and custodian of a very important car, JRR 929D, the Triumph Vitesse-based special Paul Moorehouse built around 1976 prior to the Triumph-based Marlin Roadster kits being sold via Marlin Engineering from 1979.
The car has a bespoke steel chassis with hand made aluminium panels for the internal structure, tail end and bonnet area. The nose cone, wings and running boards are fibreglass.
Interestingly, the drivetrain is offset a few inches left of centre to make more room for the driver and inlet manifold and carb’s I assume, who needs a passenger!
