Today I invented a new game. It’s called ‘Edit my Genes’ and is a simple round the table game for a family or group of friends.

It works like this;

1. Kick the game off with the person opposite you
2. Ask them to tell the group which gene they would edit for the person sitting on their right
3. Continue round the table until you finish
4. If there’s the appetite reverse the order and go around again.

I’ve done it a couple of times, it’s interesting how the mood and ideas for a gene edit change as you go around.
