Trying out a couple of dads old 35mm film camera (Praktica) lenses using an M42 adaptor. The Vivitar 28mm f2.8 and Pentacon 50mm f1.8. Which on the micro four thirds camera equates to 56mm and 100mm using the x2 method on these micro four thirds cameras.

Main image below is the OM-D 14-42mm kit lens on auto set to 25mm(50mm equiv). As a few people have said looks slightly over exposed but focus is good across the image.

Bottom left is the Vivitar on A(manual aperture) colours brighter and plenty of blue in the sky, a bit of Bokeh(fuzzy edges).

Bottom right is the Pentacon, which as it’s effectively a 100mm (50x2) is looking more like the kit lens but focus is centred markedly.

The two images below are from the kit lens, left side is on auto with the other being manual aperture, maybe a tad dark. I think this tells me I need to go manual to get the best out of it. The sky is blue today!
