PowerBook to MacBook

Well, I decided to sell the old(er) PowerBook and get a MacBook today, so I’m spending the long weekend transferring all me data.

Why step ‘down’ to a MacBook, well it has things I use regulary, like bluetooth and wireless and when I really thought about it I didn’t really use the missing stuff, DVI and S-Video, PC Card slot on the PowerBook.

But big factors are that the screen resolution on a MacBook is good, better than our old iBook and I wanted a change from the silver case look and feel.

I’ll post later on some of the issues that I’ve encountered when moving my apps and data.
